The 2011 USA Wrestling world team trials take place in Oklahoma City, OK from June 9-11. This event pits the best freestyle, greco roman and women's wrestling in the nation against one another for a chance to represent USA Wrestling at the 2011 wrestling world championships in Istanbul, Turkey. The USA Wrestling world team trials will have a mini tournament in which competitors will wrestle and a mini tournament champion is crowned. That winner of the world team trials mini tournament will then move on to wrestle the US Open champion in a best of 3 competition.
