'Some schedule changes for the SNWA championships this weekend that are pretty important. Please share with your team and social media outlets. Weigh-in is Friday March 1 @ 5pm-7Pm at Cimarron Memorial HS. Please make sure you have a printed copy of your USA Card with you as you will scan the card at the scale to be weighed in. We really need every person possible to weigh in during this time. You must weigh in wearing a singlet. You can change weights at the scale with no penalty. 6U, All Girls, True Beginners and High School Boys are all Madison bracketed based on actual weight, so don`t worry about a weight class. 8U, 10U, 12U, and Middle School you are qualifying the weight class for seeding at state, so you need to be in a standard weight class. We have a weigh in on Saturday morning from 7am-7:30am for pre-approved teams (those outside the 1hr drive time from the school like Virgin Valley, Pahrump, Alamo, etc) We expect that almost everyone weighs in on Friday night. We have 200 College men and women that need to weigh in at 7am on Saturday, so it will be very busy in that aux gym. Doors open to spectators Saturday at 8am Wrestling begins at 9am for: 6U, 8U, All GIRLS DIVISIONS, 10U True Beginner, 12U True Beginner, MS True Beginner. ​***Note this is a schedule change for 8U​​*** 8U will wrestle in the morning session The second session for SNWA Folkstyle will begin at 2:30 pm ​5 mats will be open for warmups from 2pm-2:30pm Be ready to warmup and get it done. Wrestling in the afternoon session (2:30 pm) will be: 10U varsity, 12U varsity, MiddleSchool Varsity, High School Boys **AGAIN 8U will be wrestling in the morning session​​​** We anticipate being complete with wrestling folkstyle at 6pm We have the NCWA College Regional tournament happening alongside the SNWA championships so a lot of activity will be in the gym. a lot of whistles and a lot of good wrestling. If you are signed up for the Olympic styles activities on Sunday: Doors open at 8am and the clinic with Zahid Valencia begins at 9am. After the clinic we will be wrestling as many matches as possible in the styles from 12noon-4pm. Coaches Bands are required to be out of the stands near the mats, please make sure you bring your USA card and scan it for a band. Finally, a reminder that Sunday March 3rd is the deadline to register for the USA Nevada State tournament in Fallon. Also, Coaches must register online by the same deadline. Personalized credentials are being printed and the list is due on Monday Morning. Dont be late for that process. Also, if you want your wrestler`s picture on their state credential, please have it uploaded to their profile before Sunday night.
