Chatfield Senior High School 7227 S Simms St, Littleton, CO 80127 Date Varsity - Saturday January 20th, 2024 Time 7:00a Weigh Ins, 9:00a Start Format JV and Varsity - Trackwrestling Scramble (non-elimination). Every wrestler will be seeded based on prior state placement, regional placement, and varsity record. Top-seeded wrestlers will be separated and mini-brackets will be wrestled. Winners of mini-brackets will be placed into placement brackets according to their mini-bracket results. All wrestlers will continue competing. This format provides most athletes with their 5-match limit while ensuring that their later matches are against their closest skill-leveled opponents through the later rounds. We will be running 6 mats and will attempt to accommodate any extra wrestlers you have up to the bracket limits. Mats 4 mats will be set up in the main gym, 2 mats in the auxiliary gym.
