They are your best source of information. CAP OF 32 TEAMS Wrestlers will need their AAU Card and Trackwrestling number to pre-register. Tournament fee is paid online. This is a duals tournament. Only register if you are on a duals team for this event as there are no refunds. MANDATORY PRE-REGISTRATION This event is a TWO-division event consisting of the 8 and Under (8U), and 12 and Under (12U) Age Divisions. A club can enter any number of teams. (Examples: 2 teams at 8U & 1 team at 12U; 0 teams at 8U & 2 teams at 12U; 3 teams at 8U & 2 teams at 12U) It is understood that many teams will not be able to fill every weight class in both divisions. Only kids from clubs already registered for MLK Duals will be allowed on the free agents list and their coach is to coordinate with the coach from the club they`ll wrestle with. A wrestler can only be on one duals team, in one division. (Wrestler can either be in 8U or 12U, not both.) Clubs from any state are allowed. Monday January 16th Wrestling Schedule Division 8U (7 vs 7): Each team can bring eight wrestlers. Seven to fill the weight classes, plus one alternate of any weight class. Weight Classes: 46, 51, 56, 63, 71, 81, HWT (Max 100) Division 12U (8 vs 8): Each team can bring nine wrestlers. Eight to fill the weight classes, plus one alternate of any weight class. (Weight class +1 lb. for singlet) *This tournament WILL count towards requirements for Youth State, so weigh ins are required. * Individual AYWO-AAU event weigh-in can be used for team-based duals if the event was held the previous day. AYWO Standards will be used for age divisions and weight classes. Coaches must maintain a visible AAU Card and must provide proof of the completed CDC Concussion training (yearly renewal) to be allowed on the mats and in the hospitality room. Only two coaches are allowed in the corner during a match. There are no refunds for this event. Two coaches are allowed for each dual team, free of charge. Any coaches exceeding the two coaches per dual team must pay $15.00 for access to the mat and hospitality. Hospitality will continue to be provided free-of-charge for coaches, as identified by the designated wristband. *********Out of State coaches please send coaching credentials to the Tournament Host********** This event is licensed by the Amateur Athletic Union of the U.S.,Inc. All participants must have a current AAU membership. AAU membership may not be included as part of the entry fee to the event. AAU Youth Athlete membership must be obtained before the competition begins. BE PREPARED! Adult and Non-Athlete memberships are no longer instant and cannot be applied for at event. Please allow at least 10 days for membership to be processed. Participants are encouraged to visit the AAU website www.aausports.org to obtain their membership. `
