How Tervel Dlagnev Helped Bo Jordan Deal With Pressure

Nov 2, 2016

Bo Jordan comes from a long line of successful wrestlers, he wrestled for perennial high school power St. Paris Graham, and is currently a 2x NCAA All-American and leader of the national powerhouse Ohio State Buckeyes.

Having all those labels bestowed on one person can make for a lot of expectations. And with those expectations can come a lot of pressure.

Bo discusses those issues, how he felt when he got to college, and how Tervel Dlagnev has played a big role in Jordan figuring out ways to handle pressure and expectations.

Thus far, Jordan has done a fine job managing his emotions and competing at a high level for the Ohio State Buckeyes. In two seasons, Bo has twice been runner-up at the Big Ten Championships and third place in the NCAA Championships with a career record of 43-5

As he begins his junior campaign, Bo Jordan has moved up from 165 to 174 and is currently ranked #1 in the nation.

Watch him make his 2016-2017 debut for the Ohio State Buckeyes at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invite December 2-3 broadcast Live on FloWrestling.

If, by any means, you can make it to Las Vegas for this event I highly recommend it. Year after year it is the first big test of the college wrestling season to see where people stand in a two day invitational. If you can't make it out there, you can follow along for live results and brackets on FloArena. Every match will be streamed live and all matches will be available to view on demand.
