Oh baby we're still really doing it. Hope everyone enjoyed St Patricks Day and hope all those who celebrated are too banged up from the traditional festivities.

#1 Roman Bravo-Young, (Penn State) vs HM Brian Courtney, (Virginia) - Courtney one of the lowest seeded guys still on the championship seed with the #25 seed. RBY gets the first takedown of this set of quarters. Courtney being stingy on defense, it's 2-1 after 3 minutes. RBY's offense picks up in the 2nd, now leads 6-2. Clock runs out in the 3rd, 12-6, plus riding time would is just a 7 point victory, altho RBY was close to a takedown. Reviewed? No takedown. Regular decision for Bravo-Young.

#3 Austin DeSanto, (Iowa) vs #4 Korbin Myers, (Virginia Tech) - DeSanto gets a quick takedown, then puts on a nice ride. Threw in legs and cranked Myers over for nearfall as well. Leads 6-0 now. Dominant 8-0 win by Austin, so plus 1 bonus point for Iowa.

#5 Michael McGee, (Arizona State) vs #6 Dylan Ragusin  (Michigan) - They both hit dueling head and arms, either couldn't been packed but they fought off their backs in a wild scramble. net result is 3-2 Raguson leads. Ragusin leads 4-3 after 2 periods in what is shaping up to be the bout of the session. A much different match then we saw in Austin, Texas earlier this season. McGee with a takedown on the boundary. Reviewed, confirmed, 2 points. Reverse for Ragusin. Cuts him to make it 8-7 McGee leads. RT not a factor. 20 seconds. McGee backing up, has a stall to give. Doesn't need it. McGee wins 8-7 and the Sun Devils gain a semifinalist while putting a dagger into Team 100.

#9 Chris Cannon, (Northwestern) vs #2 Daton Fix, (Oklahoma State) - Fix continues to be the standard-bearer for the Cowboys. He picks up a first period fall. Looked like a head and arm, or a cow catcher as they like to call it in Oklahoma.

#1 Nick Lee, (Penn State) vs #8 Grant Willits, (Oregon State) - Lee gets the takedown, now nearfall. Nick Lee with the fall! More bonus for Penn State! Not sure if that was a cradle or what but it stuck Willits regardless.

#21 CJ Composto, (Penn) vs #4 Real Woods, (Stanford) - Woods with a beautiful wrist snap to pick up the first takedown of this set of quarters. Four nearfall makes it 6-0 Woods. 12-0 now as Woods pulls away. It's a tech fall and Woods is into the semis!

RT at 54 seconds for Cole. Huge takedown for Matthews! Cole picks up a stall warming but RT now at 1:22. Escape to make it 6-4. Another stall and its 6-5. A TD and rideout will force sudden victory. Rivera leaps over Matthews but then they scramble and that chews up the clock. COle Matthews wins and advances to the semis!

#7 Kyle Parco, (Arizona State) vs #4 Sammy Sasso, (Ohio State) - Tactical first period, no score after 3 minutes. Escape for Sasso to start the second. Third period and it's 1-1. This match is legit but it's being overshadowed by some even more insane bouts on neighboring mats. We go to sudden victory. Shot by Parco, scramble. 50/50 position. Sasso with the neutral danger takedown! Oh and Parco's knee is hurt. That was a precarious position and Parco was selling out to try and win the scramble. Oof. He's helped off the mat. Hope he can continue. Sun Devils need Parco's points on the backside.

#3 Austin Gomez, (Wisconsin) vs #6 Bryce Andonian, (Virginia Tech) - Both these guys like to go big, which is why it was a much-anticipated matchup. Gomez delivered early with a big double. Back to neutral. Double overs by Andonian. No score but the crowd loved it. And what's not to love? Another crazy exchange, this time 2 for Andonian. I can't keep up with the match but they are hucking bodies all over the mat. 6-6 going into the third. Takedown waived off, happened after the buzzer. So 6-4 Andonian going into the third instead, in Neutral, Andonian with 1:19 of RT. Late in the match, Gomez goes for a mixer. Can't roll through and Andonian sticks him! Pinfall to end an incredible match that lived up to the hype!

#5 Ridge Lovett, (Nebraska) vs #2 Tariq Wilson, (NC State) - Wilson with the first TD. Lovett looks up a cradle in the second. He takes Tariq over. Does he have it? #17 Hunter Willits, (Oregon State) vs #9 Will Lewan, (Michigan) - Will Lewan, or won't Lewan, that is the question. Team 100 could really use the team points. Lewan with the takedown and rideout in short time to take a 2-0 lead into the second. Lewan up 3-1 in the third. And he does it. Michigan has a second semifinalist!

#4 Quincy Monday, (Princeton) vs #6 Ed Scott, (NC State) - Monday with the first takedown. Scott escapes. Wolfpack Nation could use a pick me up after Tariq's match. Scott went mixer but Quincy rolled him all the way thru. Escape in the second and it's tied 2-2. Monday escapes in the third, 3-2. Scott shoots, reshot Monday, takedown! Quick escape. And Monday holds on to advance to the semifinals. Princeton goes two for two!

#3 Jacori Teemer, (Arizona State) vs #5 Jared Franek, (North Dakota State) - Teemer scores a takedown, Franek escapes and comes close to answering but Teemer's single leg D is too strong. Escape in the second ties it, double leg on the edge breaks the tie, 4-2 Teemer leads. 5-3 now in the third. Teemer's defense too much for Franek. Arizona State bounces back with a big win!

#8 Josh Humphreys, (Lehigh) vs #2 Ryan Deakin, (Northwestern) - With Carr in the consolation bracket manny are saying this is Deakin's cham[pionsho to lose. He gets the first takedown with a go behind. Humprheys gets to his feet and goes for a headlock but Deakin defends and, in fact, never gave up the escape. Deakin workmanlike 5-1 lead in the third. It's official, 5-2, so Deakin one step closer to redemption.

#1 Evan Wick, (California Poly) vs #13 Peyton Hall, (West Virginia) - Some are calling this the best weight class of the tournament. Many in fact. I'm hearing it more and more. Wick shoots a single, gets an early stall call on Hall, then collects two. Four nearfall makes it 6-0 quickly. And Hall rides out the third but no worries, Cal Poly with a semifinalist, Wick is an All-American once again! 6-1 win.

#3 Shane Griffith, (Stanford) vs #5 Dean Hamiti, (Wisconsin) - Expecting 110% Pure NRG out of this bout. First takedown goes to Griffith. Rideout so 2-0 into the second, Hamiti starts it in top position. Griffith escape, but Hamiti answers with a takedown of his own. Escape and takedown as Griffith answers to make it 6-2. Escape in the third, 6-3 Griffith. And Hamiti is game but the defending champ is too much. Stanford's champion is back in the semis!

#4 Alex Marinelli, (Iowa) vs #7 Cameron Amine, (Michigan) - The Bull goes upper body and walks Amine out of bounds, eliciting a stall call on Amine. Takedown quick escape and Marinelli goes up 2-1. But the takedown is challenged. Long review, and the TD is taken away. Still 0-0. Scoreless first. Amine escapes, 1-0. Amine in on a single, has Marinelli hopping for over a minute (something like that) but Marinellu wrests his leg back and its 1-0 going into the third. Escape from Marinelli. RT not a factor. Regulation ends, we go to sudden victory! Wild scramble! Amine was close! Out of bounds and back to the center. Halfway thru the 2 minute period. Double leg from Amine, he drives Marinelli to the mat! Overtime win by Amine and a big boost to Michigan's team race! Heroic victory by Cameron!

#6 Carson Kharchla, (Ohio State) vs #2 Keegan O'Toole, (Missouri) - Kharchla stops every attack from O'Toole. It's 0-0 after 3 minutes. O'Toole escapes, Kharchla in on a shot. Defended, 1-0 going into the third, Kharchla chooses down. Kharchla close to a reversal but O'Toole won't leg go over his leg and now close to a clutch rideout. And O'Toole finds a way! Specifically with a smothering top game! Mizzou with a semifinalist!

#1 Carter Starocci, (Penn State) vs #7 Mikey Labriola, (Nebraska) - Going to be tough to top that last weight class! Loooong scramble to start this bout, but no scores. Impressive display of strength and flexibility. No scores after 3 minutes. Starocci underneath, gets an escape and takedown in rapid succession. Punishing ride by Starocci, Labs is flat. Escape in the third for Labriola but its late in the third, RT locked so 3-1 but effectively 4-1, Starocci leads. Starocci with a quietly dominant in and Penn State gets another in the semis!

#4 Michael Kemerer, (Iowa) vs #5 Hayden Hidlay, (NC State) - Hidlay muscles up the first takedown. Quick escape, 2-1 Hidlay. Escape for Hidlay early in the 2nd period to make it 3-1. Escape by Kemerer but another takedown by Hidaly makes it 5-3. Kemerer looking for funk but Hidlay not going for it and chews up clock in the meantime. And Hidlay will do it! Wolfpack Nation finally has a semifinalist and more heartache for the Hawkeyes.

#2 Logan Massa, (Michigan) vs #9 Dustin Plott, (Oklahoma State) - Massa in deep, can't finish. Next time it's two, 2-0 lead for Logan. Escape Plott. Another escape in the second ties it, but a pivotal takedown for Massa makes it 4-2. Never in doubt, Mass wins its 8-3 when a RT point is tacked on. Michigan keeping pace for that team title!

#8 Clay Lautt, (North Carolina) vs #3 Mekhi Lewis, (Virginia Tech) - Lewis taking on his ACC rival, gets the first takedown. Mekhi with over a minute of riding time but Lautt escapes before the period ends. Escape Mekhi and it's 3-1. No more scores, another escape for Lautt and its 3-2 but RT at 1:20 for Mekhi. Escape and another takedown for a 6-1 lead, make that 6-2. Amine firmly in command but he's stretching for the major. Braunagel denies the major but Amine is through. The second of two Amines! They're cousins FYI.

#6 Bernie Truax, (California Poly) vs #4 Parker Keckeisen, (Northern Iowa) - Truax breaks through Keckeisen's defense and scores the first TD. 3-3 still in the first in this back and forth battle. Several stoppages for blood from Truax already. 4-3, slim lead in the second after an escape by Keck. The most competitive bout of the weight goes to the third, Truax leading by a point. Keckeisen in deep several times but Truax won't let him score. Final four seconds. And Cal Poly gets two finalists! Truax wins and advances!

Takedown and rideout for a 4-1 lead into the second. Escape and takedown and it's 7-1. Brooks will want bonus for the team race, as will his rival Amine. Brooks keeps piling on the TDs. It's a 13-2 major for Penn State has another semifinalist!

#1 Max Dean, (Penn State) vs #13 Lou DePrez, (Binghamton) - DePrez becomes DePredator and gets DeFirst takedown of DeMatch. Escape makes it 2-1. In the second, DePrez rides for about a minute, Dean ties it 2-2 with 1:05 on the RT clock. DePrez takes neutral. Dean in on a shot. Looooong scramble. Stalemated. Challenge brick from Penn State. Didn't look like a TD but we shall see. And the call is overturned. Apparently it was two. So now Dean very much in the driver's seat. He kills the RT. DePrez escapes but he won't break Dean's defenses. Max Dean is into the semis! Cheers and jeers reign down from the crowd, from the various partisan groups in attendance.

#20 Gavin Hoffman, (Ohio State) vs #9 Jake Woodley, (Oklahoma) - Hoffman with the first takedown and the lead over Woodley. Escape makes it 2-1. Nice ride from Buchanan and he keeps the 2-0 lead into the second. Riding time locked up in the third and it's 3-0 but really 4-0 for Buchanan. And Wyoming get a semifinalist! Steveson trails for the first time since I can't remember when! Escape and takedown for Steveson and that lead is erased. 7-4 lead now for Steveson. 10-5 win for Steveson, perhaps the quietest win of the season for future WWE star.

#14 Christian Lance, (Nebraska) vs #3 Greg Kerkvliet, (Penn State) - Takedown for Kerk and he's got a 2-0 lead. 4-0 lead for Kerkvliet and over a minute of RT in the second. Solid 7-1 victory by Kerkvliet. Nothing special and no bonus but he advances and gives Penn State another semifinalist.
