The number two recruit in the nation in the class of 2022 will be staying close to home. Ryan Crookham of Notre Dame Green Pond in Easton, PA, announced today on social media that he will be continuing his academic and athletic career at Lehigh University, just down the road in Bethlehem.

Crookham capped off a stellar sophomore season by winning a PIAA title at 126 pounds. He earned the #2 spot on the Class of 2022 Big Board, thanks to that title, as well as championships at Beast of the East and Escape the Rock. 

Crookham projects at either 141 or 149, depending on how much mass he acquires in the next couple of years. The Mountain Hawks have two very talented redshirt freshmen entering this season at 141 in Malyke Hines and Connor McGonagle, but will have two years and a potential redshirt year to figure out how to fit everyone in the lineup.
