Alex Dieringer came on this morning's Bader Show to make a special live announcement. He has decided to relocate from Stillwater to the Cliff Keen Wrestling Club in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Dieringer has been on US National Teams since making the move to the senior level. and

The rationale for this move is, in part, wrestling-related. Dieringer will have access to a number of high-level training partners including Logan Massa, Alec Pantaleo, and Myles Amine.

The other piece of Dieringer's decision was related to his girlfriend whose career aspirations in Occupational Therapy will fit nicely in a program at the University of Michigan.

Dieringer also considered moving to the NJRTC before finally deciding on moving to Michigan.

The Cowboys will miss Dieringer who is their most accomplished wrestler in some time, having won three NCAA titles after finishing third as a freshman.

Dieringer mentioned that he will always remain loyal to Oklahoma State, John Smith, and the entire coaching staff in Stillwater, but he looks forward to learning from Sean Bormet and Sergei Beloglazov.
