The Hawkeyes have listed 23 guys as probable entries for Midlands. Here are some collective stats about that group:

  • 41 state titles
  • 11 Fargo titles
  • 5 were on UWW Cadet or Junior World Teams
  • 5 UWW Cadet/Junior World Medals
  • 17 of the 23 ended their high school careers on the Big Board

This is a group that has been in the making for years, and this crop of Hawkeyes has the best chance of any group in recent years to bring an NCAA title back to Iowa City. Many of these recruits have had big goals as Hawkeyes since long before they set foot on campus.
