Earlier today, the second-ranked Hawkeyes released their probable lineup for Sunday's dual. The #7 Cyclones have also now released their likely starters for the Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk Series matchup.

The all-time series record is 65-16-2 in favor of Iowa, who have won 15 straight. ISU looks to snap a seven-match losing streak in Ames, as their last win at home against Iowa was December 7, 2003 (21-13). Iowa State's last win in the series was 19-16 on December 5, 2004, at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.

Below are the likely starters, and then we'll get into a few of the weights with multiple guys listed.

Iowa State Probable Starters

125: #7 Alex Mackall

133: Todd Small or Ramazan Attasauov

141: #12 Ian Parker or #5 (at 133) Austin Gomez

149: #4 Jarrett Degen

157: #19 David Carr

165: Chase Straw

174: Marcus Coleman

184: #5 Sammy Colbray

197: Joel Shapiro or Francis Duggan

285: #15 Gannon Gremmel

Based on who started at the Bucknell dual, plus Small winning the Harold Nichols Open and Attasauov getting fourth, it seems likely Small gets the nod at 133.

There doesn't seem like any reason to use Gomez when they have a perfectly capable starter in Parker (who is also ranked), and may potentially screw up his descent plan as he gets back down to 133.

Shapiro beat Duggan in the third-place match at the Nichols and he got the start against Bucknell last Sunday.
