Winston had given a verbal to the Tar Heels back in March, right after NCAAs. He did not release a school list, but signing day starts November 14th, so he can sign a national letter of intent in just under two weeks time if he so chooses.

The senior at Park Hill, MO ascended to the #1 ranking at 182lbs after being the highest placing non-graduated senior in Fargo, and then beating Akron champ Abe Assad at WNO a month ago.

There will obviously be a few teams in the market for Winston, who is very tall and projects as a 184/197 at the next level. In our last prospect rankings, he came in seventh at 197.

The senior Big Board will be updated in the next week or so, but as of now Winston is the #31 recruit in the Class of 2019. That means, for now, he is one of the biggest free agents on the market along with Carter Starocci and Jace Luchau.
