Devin Winston has verbally committed to wrestle for the University of North Carolina Tar Heels.

Devin Winston has verbally committed to wrestle for the University of North Carolina Tar Heels. The junior made the announcement today on both Twitter and Instagram.

A Cadet Fargo freestyle champion, Winston is currently ranked 17th at 182 pounds. The 2018 Missouri state runner-up for Kansas City Park Hill is also #63 on the Class of 2019 Big Board.

Winston, who was a state champ as a sophomore, becomes the third junior to verbal to the Tar Heels. North Carolina coach Coleman Scott and his staff have also received commitments from Eric Barnett (#26 on Big Board) and Gabriel Tagg (#52 on Big Board).
