One of the most sought-after upper weights in the high school class of 2020 is off the board, as Konner Doucet has made his verbal commitment to Oklahoma State.
Doucet is the seventh-ranked 195-pound high schooler in the nation and #32 on the Class of 2020 Big Board. The Commanche, Oklahoma, product had a breakout tournament this summer in Akron, where he finished runner-up at the UWW Cadet World Team Trials.

Doucet made his announcement this morning on social media with the following statement:
After much thought and consideration, I would like to thank all of the coaches that have taken the time to contact and recruit me. I would like to thank my family for always being there and raising me into the man I am today. Thank you to my coaches and teammates, you guys are right beside me through everything. Lastly, I would like to thank my lord and savior for blessing me with the opportunity and talent that he has gifted me with.
I would like to announce that I am committing to continue my academic and athletic career at Oklahoma State University! ?UP
Doucet projects at either 197 or 285 pounds, providing the Cowboys with a much needed upper weight recruit.
