We are just days away from the first whistle of the Cadet and Junior National tournament. Here's the full schedule for this year's tournament, along with what happened on that same day a year ago.

Day 1: On this day last year, Vayle Rae Baker was the first to capture a cadet title with a 10-0 technical fall win over Katlyn Butcher of Indiana.

(Saturday, July 16)
2:00 PM to 6:00 PM: Cadet Women: Session I – Preliminaries, Quarterfinals, Semifinals, Consolation and Consolation Semifinals
7:00 PM to 9:00 PM: Cadet Women: Session II – Finals, Medal Matches & Awards



Day 2: Roman Bravo-Young had to come from behind in the last 20 seconds to defeat Jet Taylor. RBY got a four-point throw to take the two-point lead after trailing 3-1 late in the match.

(Sunday, July 17)
9:00 AM to 1:00 PM: Cadet Greco-Roman: Session I – Preliminaries and Consolations
3:00 PM to 7:00 PM: Cadet Greco-Roman: Session II – 1/8 Championship, Quarterfinals and Consolations



Day 3: Incoming freshman Cohlton Schultz blasted through Kayne Hutchison on day three to claim the 220-pound Greco title. Schultz won by 11-0 tech. fall.

(Monday, July 18)
9:00 AM to 1:00 PM: Cadet Greco-Roman: Session III – Consolations, Semifinals and Consolation Semifinals
9:00 AM to 1:00 PM: Junior Greco-Roman: Session I – Preliminaries and Consolations
2:00 PM to 5:00 PM: Cadet Greco-Roman: Session IV – Finals, Medal Matches & Awards
6:00 PM to 9:00 PM: Junior Greco-Roman: Session II – Consolations and 1/8 Championship
6:00 PM to 9:00 PM: Junior Women: Session I - Preliminaries, Consolations and 1/8 Championships



Day 4: Teshya Alo won her fifth Fargo title with a 10-0 tech fall over Michigan’s Hannah Jewell. Alo's five titles are the most in Fargo history. This was also the same day tempers flared as Hayden Hidlay defeated Mason Manville in the finals.

(Tuesday, July 19)
9:00 AM to 1:00 PM: Junior Women: Session II – Quarterfinals, Consolations, Semifinals and Consolation Semifinals
9:00 AM to 1:00 PM: Junior Greco-Roman: Session III – Quarterfinals, Consolations, Semifinals and Consolation Semifinals
2:15 PM to 5:15 PM: Junior Greco-Roman: Session IV – Finals, Medal Matches & Awards
3:00 PM to 4:00 PM: Junior Women: Session III – IF NEEDED
5:45 PM to 8:30 PM: Junior Women: Session IV – Finals, Medal Matches & Awards



Day 5: Gable Steveson began his quest for a cadet national title with back-to-back shut-out wins in his first two matches. Steveson would go on to claim the title with a win over Cohlton Schultz.

(Wednesday, July 20)
9:30 AM to 1:30 PM: Junior Women Freestyle Duals: Session I – Preliminaries
9:30 AM to 1:30 PM: Cadet Freestyle: Session I – Preliminaries and Consolations
3:30 PM to 7:30 PM: Cadet Freestyle: Session II – Preliminaries, 1/8 Championships, Consolations
3:30 PM to 7:30 PM: Junior Women Freestyle Duals: Session II – Preliminaries, Finals, Medal Matches, & Awards



Day 6: Sammy Sasso pinned Alex Lloyd in 5:36 to punch his ticket to the 132-pound finals. After pinning Lloyd, he stared down Brock Hardy, who he later defeated in the finals.

(Thursday, July 21)
9:30 AM to 1:30 PM: Cadet Freestyle: Session III – Quarterfinals and Consolations
9:30 AM to 1:30 PM: Junior Men's Freestyle: Session I – Preliminaries and Consolations
3:30 PM to 7:30 PM: Cadet Freestyle: Session IV – Semifinals, Consolations and Consolation Semifinals
3:30 PM to 7:30 PM: Junior Men's Freestyle: Session II – Preliminaries and Consolations



Day 7: Nick Raimo and Alex Thomsen gave us one of the most exciting finals matches of the tournament.

2:00 PM to 5:00 PM: Cadet Freestyle: Session V – Finals, Medal Matches & Awards
6:00 PM to 8:00 PM: Junior Men's Freestyle: Session IV – Semifinals, Consolations and Consolation Semifinals



Day 8: Taylor LaMont avenged his Greco finals loss to Mitch McKee by getting a 15-5 tech fall over McKee to win the freestyle title at 132. This day also gave us some of the wildest results and best finals.
