Pitt has announced its 2026-27 schedule, a slate that features a home dual against Iowa, National Duals and a challenging ACC schedule.

The Panthers will open the season at the Navy Classic before hosting Buffalo and Lehigh in Pittsburgh. Pitt's schedule also includes trips to Edinboro, Cornell and the Midlands Championships, along with ACC duals against Virginia Tech, Virginia, NC State and Stanford.

Pitt returns six of its seven NCAA qualifiers from the 2025-26 season. Tyler Chappell, Dylan Evans, Jared Keslar, Chase Kranitz, Mac Stout and Dayton Pitzer are all back after qualifying for the NCAA Championships last season. Stout enters the year as the most accomplished wrestlers in the lineup after earning All-American honors in 2025, while Pitzer returns after reaching the Round of 12 at the 2026 NCAA Championships.

Key Matchups On Pitt's Schedule

Pitt opens the season at the Navy Classic before hosting Buffalo and Lehigh and making a short trip to face Edinboro.

The Panthers' home schedule is highlighted by a Dec. 4 dual against Iowa at the Petersen Events Center. Pitt will also compete at National Duals in Tulsa before closing out December with a road dual at Cornell and a trip to the Midlands Championships.

ACC competition begins Jan. 8 against North Carolina and includes road trips to Virginia Tech, Virginia and NC State. The Panthers also host Duke and Stanford during conference action.

Pitt closes the regular season at home before hosting the ACC Championships in March.

When Are The NCAA Wrestling Championships 2027?

The 2027 NCAA Wrestling Championships are scheduled for March 18-20 at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Missouri.
