Minnesota has announced its 2026-27 schedule, a slate that features early-season tournaments, National Duals, the Soldier Salute and a challenging Big Ten schedule.

The Golden Gophers will compete at the Daktronics Invitational and Mountaineer Invitational before opening their home dual schedule against Gardner-Webb. Minnesota will also take part in the National Duals Invitational in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and the Soldier Salute in Coralville, Iowa.
The Golden Gophers return five wrestlers who competed at the 2026 NCAA Championships, including three All-Americans. Max McEnelly returns as the defending NCAA champion at 184 pounds, while Jore Volk and Vance VomBaur are back after earning All-America honors. Minnesota also welcomes back NCAA qualifiers Charlie Millard and Koy Hopke.

Key Matchups On Minnesota's Schedule
Minnesota opens the season with back-to-back tournaments at the Daktronics Invitational and Mountaineer Invitational before beginning its home dual schedule against Gardner-Webb, Bucknell and SIUE.
The Golden Gophers will then head to Tulsa for the National Duals Invitational before competing at the Soldier Salute in early January.
Big Ten competition begins Jan. 10 against Maryland and includes road duals against Wisconsin, Purdue, Nebraska and Michigan. Minnesota's home conference schedule features duals against Rutgers, Penn State and Illinois.
Minnesota closes the season at the Big Ten Championships in Columbus before the NCAA Championships return to St. Louis in March.

The 2027 NCAA Wrestling Championships are scheduled for March 18-20 at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Missouri.
