How To Watch The 2026 Southern Scuffle
The start of a new year usually means one big thing – it’s time for the next edition of the Southern Scuffle in Tennessee. Here’s how to watch in 2026.

As has become tradition in collegiate wrestling, the turning of the calendar to a new year also means its time for the annual Southern Scuffle presented by Compound Sportswear, hosted by the University of Tennessee Chattanooga.
The 2026 edition of the famed event will take place Jan. 3-4 at the McKenzie Arena, the centerpiece of the Chattanooga athletic program since 1982.
The Southern Scuffle is considered one of the more competitive regular-season events, and that should be no different in 2026 when more than 20 teams and hundreds of wrestlers head to Chattanooga.
For wrestling fans in the United States, the entire event will broadcast live on FloWrestling and the FloSports app, beginning Jan. 3 at 9 a.m. Eastern.

The Southern Scuffle first was held in Greensboro, North Carolina, in 2003 and made the move to Chattanooga in 2012.
The tournament typically attracts top teams for the two days of action, offering the opportunity to shake off any rust after the holiday season and make sure things are on track for conference tournaments, which are about two months away.
The 2025 Southern Scuffle featured 23 teams and more than 300 competitors, with the title going to Army, which edged Oklahoma and eventual national champion Penn State, 132.5-126.5.
