No. 2-Ranked Jax Forrest Wins State Title At PIAA Wrestling Championships
The 2025 PIAA State Wrestling Championships took place on March 6-8. Here's how Jax Forrest, the nation's No. 2-ranked high school wrestler, did.
Jax Forrest may be one of the biggest standout wrestlers that the class of 2026 has seen, and he has the stats to back up the hype.
Forrest is ranked No. 2 in the nation for high school pound-for-pound wrestlers, recording over 120 career wins.
Forrest competed in the 2024 U.S. Olympic trials, where he was defeated in the 57-kg quarterfinals by Thomas Gilman 5-4.

Forrest would go on to make it to the final match of the consolations, where he was defeated by the nation's No. 1-ranked high school wrestler, Marcus Blaze.
Forrest recently committed to Oklahoma State Wrestling, adding to David Taylor's already stacked recruiting lineup.
On March 6, Forrest began his journey at the annual PIAA State Wrestling Championships, where he eventually added another championship title to his collection of wins.

Jax Forrest Claims 2025 PIAA State Title In 7-1 Win Over Aaron Seidel
Forrest has claimed his second PIAA Championship title in the 133-lb 2025 finals.

Forrest was able to force a fall against Gavin Green in 1 minute, 34 seconds, securing a spot in the finals.
Forrest defeated Berks Catholic's Brayden Hartranft with a masterclass of skill, sending the No. 2-ranked wrestler to the semifinals. The semifinals start at 7 p.m. ET on Friday, March 7.

Forrest defeated Kostick with a fall in 56 seconds, with a match score of 7-4.
