A Look At The Schedule For The 2025 Big Ten Wrestling Championships

The Big Ten Wrestling Championships is an event many elite athletes aim to be a part of and one wrestling fans likely circle on their calendars each year.

The Big Ten is synonymous with collegiate wrestling, and the conference has been a dominant force on the national stage, with winning the last 17 NCAA Division I team national championships among its accomplishments.

But before those teams can win on the biggest stage, they first must run the gauntlet that is the Big Ten.

This year, the Big Ten Wrestling Championships will be held March 8-9 in Evanston, Illinois, and we’ve got the schedule for you.

By the time the highly anticipated Big Ten Championships come around, the 14 teams will have had the chance to size up most of their competition at eight conference dual meets.

The wrestling regular season and the slate of dual competitions kicked off in early December and ran through the last week of February. Now, the spotlight becomes brighter, and the stakes become the highest they’ve been all year.

The 2025 Big Ten Wrestling Championships will be held over two days and four exciting sessions at the Welsh-Ryan Arena, home of the Northwestern wrestling program.

The first-rounds, quarterfinal, semifinal and wrestleback matches all will take place during Session I and Session II.

Consolation semifinals and seventh-place matches will happen during Session III.

The event will conclude with the first-, third- and fifth-places matches during Session IV.
