The biggest rivalry in NCAA wrestling is taking place again on Friday, Feb.9 as undefeated Penn State (No.1) takes on Iowa (No.2). The Duals Match will take place at 9 p.m at Carver-Hawkeye Arena in Iowa City, Iowa.

Last year, Penn State took down Iowa 23-14 in front of a sold out crowd at the Bryce Jordan Center.

The loss on the road for Iowa was a tough one as some rounds came down to extremely narrow margins. The star-studded matchup would return in the 2023 NCAA Wrestling Championships as well where Penn State won 137.5 to Iowa’s 82.5.

Iowa has not won against Penn State since the 2019-20 season giving them fuel, while Penn State will look to keep the streak alive.
