Bad Blood, Twitter Beefs Between Renteria and Moore
Oak Park-River Forest wrestler Jason Renteria and St. Paris Graham's Mitch Moore have renewed their rivalry on Twitter heading into the 2016 Walsh Jesuit Ironman on Dec. 9-10.
There are friendly rivalries, and then there's bad blood. Mitch Moore and Jason Renteria may not have wrestled many times, but that hasn't stopped them from taking their rivalry off the mat and onto Twitter.
At the Walsh Jesuit Ironman in 2014, St. Paris Graham's Moore took out Oak Park-River Forest's Renteria, a Nebraska commit, in the 113-pound finals. An early ankle pick and nearfall off a scramble set Moore, a Virginia Tech commit, apart in 2014. Their paths on the mat haven't crossed since, but a 2016 Who's #1 discussion on Twitter in September renewed their rivalry.
