With the Who's #1 card almost complete, we are excited to announce another incredible match-up. No. 2 Jarod Verkleeren will look to defend his home soil against Oklahoma stud, No. 3 Kaden Gfeller.
Watch Who's #1 LIVE from the Snakepit on Sunday, October 2, at 5PM (EST).
Verkleeren became a household name last year when he dominated his way to a Cadet World Championship. Verkleeren is coming off a Fargo runner-up finish and FloNational title after a controversial ending to his high school season. The Iowa State commit is also an Ironman runner-up who fell to David Carr in a thriller. Verkleeren will make his second appearance in the Snakepit after edging Kyle Bierdumpfel last year.
Watch Verkleeren win a cadet world title:
Oklahoma State commit Gfeller will make his return to the mat after suffering an injury warming up at Fargo. You name the tournament, and chances are, GFeller has won or placed very highly at it. The three-time Oklahoma state champ is a Fargo champ, FloNationals champ, and Super 32-placer.
