After winning a state championship as a freshman, Julian Chlebove has made up his mind and is verbally committing to Arizona State.

I feel very comfortable going to Arizona State," said Chlebove. "I've known Zeke Jones since I was a baby. He was my dad's coach when he wrestled at West Virginia so going [to ASU] is just the right fit for me. I had a chance to go out there for a camp and being around those guys and being in that room just seemed right for me.
The PA state champ is currently ranked 12th in the country at 120-pounds and is the #6-ranked sophomore on the Class of 2019 Big Board. Chlebove is the second wrestler of the Class of 2019 to commit since fellow freshman state champ Adam Busiello of New York announced that he was verbally committing to Penn State.

"A lot of what I teach Julian is what I got from Zeke," said Julian's dad Whitey Chlebove, who was an All-American for West Virginia. "So I feel extremely confident in my son going to learn even more from him."

Chlebove, who was a FloNational All-American as an 8th grader, worked his way up the rankings last year with his most notable win coming over Matty Parker of Pennridge in the Escape the Rock finals. He also defeated Parker in the state finals. Chlebove projects as a 141.
Watch Chlebove use his great defense to defeat Parker.
