Ohio State Releases 2017-18 Schedule
Ohio State has released their complete schedule for the upcoming 2017-18 season.
One of this season's title contenders has put out its schedule, courtesy of Steelwood Radio. You can listen to the full podcast releasing the schedule and check out all of Ohio State's competitions below.
In a change from their normal season opener, the Buckeyes will kick off the year by wrestling at the Princeton Open. Ohio State will then have three non-conference duals in Arizona State, Cleveland State, and Kent State before heading to the Cliff Keen Las Vegas at the start of December, which is streaming live on Flo.
The Buckeyes start their conference schedule against Indiana at Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy, home of national champ Nathan Tomasello and Buckeyes recruit Jordan Decatur. Ohio State will head to Atlanta for a dual with UT Chattanooga to close out 2017.
In January, OSU has two weekends with both a Friday and Sunday dual, starting on January 5 and 7 when the Buckeyes travel to Maryland and Rutgers, respectively. They will also host back-to-back duals at the Schottenstein Center against Minnesota and Iowa, the latter of which has a date still to be determined by the Big Ten Network.
The final "home" dual will be against Purdue at St. Paris Graham High School, where both Micah and Bo Jordan attended high school. The Buckeyes close out the year with trips to Penn State, Michigan, and NC State. The Penn State dual will be on Saturday, February 3rd in Rec Hall, and will take place at either 6pm or 8pm eastern time.
