Kerry McCoy - SACRIFICE ALL

null

Kerry McCoy did not have expectations for the bigger picture when he first started wrestling, he just wanted to get better. When he had a competition, whether winning or losing, he just wanted to get better. He did not have very much negative reinforcement from coaches which he appreciates and feels helped make him better. He never got too high after a big win or too low after a big loss. At any level it is about taking advantage of opportunities, getting a takedown when you get the leg, getting the pin when you get him on his back. Champions will sacrifice whatever it takes to get to the top and live their lives in the right way. Kerry talks about winning his first NCAA title and didn't make a big deal about it, he just got his hand raised and took his drug test. By the time he was done with the drug test the arena was empty, he went to eat with his family and had a low key night after that.
