Paramus was an up and coming team led by William " Bill" Savage who wrestled for the 1960"s NJ dynasty Bergenfield HS. Both teams were ranked top ten in NJ for 1978 and this match was a "sold out" event that had the whole state watching. This match was the opening matchup at 101 lbs with Bill Glos of Pascak Hills wrestling Marino of Paramus. Marino won 3-2.
