Sep 30, 2020A native of Fort Dodge, Iowa, Ayayla is a three - time Iowa state champion and most recently won his third stop sign in Fargo with his second title in junior freestyle in 2021. Ayala has put together a lengthy resume in the state of Iowa, winning the Conflict at Carver in 2018 and the Cliff Keen Independence Invitational that same year. Ayala would finish his freshman season as a runner up in the Iowa high school 3A state tournament at 106 pounds. In that offseason, Ayala won double titles at the Independence tournament, the Iowa freestyle/greco state tournament, and the Northern Plains regional setting him up for Fargo later that summer. Ayala would leave Fargo as an all - american in cadet freestyle after winning a national title the year prior.

Nov 25, 2017Tom Brands is easily rated as one of the top intensity wrestlers this sport has ever seen. His work ethic has rarely, if ever, been matched on the mat. In college, Brands was a force for the Iowa Hawkeyes, capturing the "Gablesque" mentality of the sport by constantly attacking and putting pressure on his opponents. Tom Brands was a four time All-American and three time NCAA national champion in college. He built off his collegiate success and competed for the U.S. in freestyle. Brands won the Gold medal at both the World Championships in 1993 and at the Olympics in Atlanta in 1996.He continues today as the head coach of the Iowa Hawkeye program to lead the new generation of Iowa wrestlers.

Nov 21, 2017A native of Hawaii and pioneer in the sport of women's wrestling, Chun was a 2008 world champion and 2012 Olympic bronze-medalist, the first medal ever from an American in women's wrestling. Chun continues to shatter boundaries when she was named the head coach of the Iowa women's wrestling program in 2021, the first NCAA women's varsity program from a D1 Power 5 conference.

Aug 1, 2012Hailing out of Murrysville, Pennsylvania, the Franklin Regional product won Three Pennsylvania state titles and was a four-time finalist. On the international circuit, Lee has represented the U.S. on four separate occasions at the world championships between the cadet and junior levels. Lee won a cadet world title in. 2014, and back to back junior world titles in 2015 and 2016. Recruited by major schools such as Penn State, Ohio State, Oklahoma State, and Iowa, Lee ultimately chose the Hawkeyes (alma mater of his club coach Jody Strittmatter) after a long anticipated recruitment.
