payable to USAWCT, include your USA Wrestling number on the check, you will get an e-mail to do the on-line course, the pretest and final exam

Must have 2022-2023 USA Wrestling Athlete card if under 18 years old by 12/31/2022 or if you are over 18 a USA Wrestling Leadership card is required.
You will need adequate time to review the rule book pages to pass the online exam. There is a Pretest to prepare for the final Exam. The final exam is a true/false exam, OPEN BOOK, will be given to potential officials on line after the clinic. Officials will need to score 86% or better to pass the exam, with no time limit on line.
NO SECOND CHANCE, BECAUSE THERE IS A PRETEST TO CHECK YOUR KNOWLEDGE BEFORE SUBMITTING THE FINAL EXAM FOR GRADING.
If you are 18 or older by 12/31/2022 the USA Wrestling Leadership card is required, which requires a background check and a certificate for Sports Safety course, available on line at USAW.

This Clinic is Available to ALL past officials and new candidates. This Certification Clinic is designed to
1) certify USWOA Officials to objectively officiate USA Wrestling CT Youth Tournaments
2) increase coaches and athlete’s knowledge of the current High School rules.
To achieve certification prospects must attend a USACT wrestling sanctioned Clinic, successfully pass an on-line examination.
Officials will be compensated at such events in the sum of $20.00 per hour. The better you do on the exam will increase your opportunities to officiate events.
It is your responsibility to UPDATE YOUR PERSONAL PROFILE ON USA Wrestling site and to inform USAWCT as to any changes to your e-mail address, failure to comply with these rules shall result in you not getting assigned.
When you are informed that you have passed the exam, you will be required to select the tournaments that you want to officiate at least four weeks prior to the events. You will be informed by a posting on the http://www.usawct.org/ web site as to which tournaments you are assigned, not one is assigned to all tournaments requested, therefore you must review the site to verify any assignments.
