The United States wrestling team will be preparing for the upcoming world championships in Budapest, Hungary beginning on September 16. The US will look to bring home multiple medals and will make a push to win the team championship. Jordan Burroughs returns to lead the team as the 2x defending world champion along with others who have world experience. Tervel Dlagnev was bronze in 2009 and 5th in 2011 and 2012. Obe Blanc, Reece Humphrey, Brent Metcalf and JD Bergman all also have experience at the world championships and will each look to pick up his first medal this year.
