Pre-registration Information
AGE GROUPS: Age Categories, Start Times, and Period Length: A minimum of 20 minutes must be allowed between wrestlers matches, unless agreed upon by the coaches for a shorter time.
Tech falls will occur when a 15-point margin is achieved, this rule applies to all age groups.
Brackets for Female matches will be from online registration. Brackets for 12U and Middle School Girls, will wrestle in the AM session. Brackets for 6U, 8U and 10U Girls will wrestle in the afternoon session. The female wrestlers may wrestle in the co-ed brackets during normal scheduled sessions and in female brackets as stated above have a second entry fee.
Each Club’s Director or designated person for that club will check in with the Tournament Director, inform the Director of any known NO SHOW wrestlers and pay for their team’s entry. Note: There are no refunds for no-shows — each club is responsible for full payment.
A wrestler can move up one age group provided the entry is done online during registration. A wrestler can only compete in one bracket for each session, either the morning or afternoon session. The only division that can wrestle in both morning and afternoon is the 10U division, because the wrestler can wrestle in the morning session as an 10U and move up one division to 12U for the afternoon session The request to change division must be done on line during registration.
All wrestlers must check in by the end of the skin check-in time period to verify they do not have any contagious skin conditions. Wrestlers will not be admitted into the tournament if they are not checked in on time.
It is the responsibility of the Club Directors, or the designated person for that club, to check with the head person running the skin check in area to see if any of their wrestlers have not checked in by 8:30 am for the morning session and 12:30 pm for the afternoon session. NOTICE: HEAD GEAR will be required for all age groups as this is a USA Wrestling rule. Please trim wrestler’s nails to avoid injuries.
ALL WRESTLERS WITH BRACES ON THEIR TEETH MUST HAVE PROTECTIVE MOUTH GUARDS.
