OPEN/NOVICE/GIRLS WRESTLING TOURNAMENT

TIME: Doors will open at 6:30 am.
Split session start: NOVICE: wrestlers must be checked-in by 7:15 am and will start wrestling at 8:00 AM.
GIRLS: wrestlers must be checked in by 10:15 AM , wrestling will start promptly at 11:00 AM.
OPEN: wrestlers arrive at 12:30, wrestling will start promptly at 1:00 PM.
WEIGH-IN: NOVICE: No weigh-in! Honor system! Submit Actual Weight! Novice must check-in by 7:15 day of tournament
GIRLS: No weigh-in! Honor system! Submit Actual Weight!
OPEN: Thursday, February 13 at 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at Upper Perkiomen High School
Friday, February 14 at 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at Upper Perkiomen High School (No weight changes)
Saturday, February 15 at 7:30 am to 9:00 am at Upper Perkiomen High School (No weight changes)

ENTRY FEE: Registration: $40 per individual wrestler (no refunds)
Team registration by 2/1/25: $36 per wrestler w/ 10 or more wrestlers registered on team form (no refunds)
OPEN AWARDS: will be awarded to 1 st, 2 nd , 3 rd place finishers in each weight class in each division.
GIRLS Girls Divisions: This is a RAPID FIRE format. Wrestlers will wrestle through their bracket in a shorter time frame.
DETAILS: Must be 14 years old or younger on the day of the tournament
Madison Style Bracketing: Wrestlers will be grouped according to weight and age as best as possible.
**Age and weight groups may be combined in order to create complete brackets.**
GIRLS DIVISION AWARDS: will be awarded to 1 st , 2 nd , 3 rdplace finishers in each weight class in each division.
ADMISSION: Coaches/All other attendees $8.00 (No charge to wrestlers and students 5 & Under)

RULES: Modified PIAA Rules & PIAA Certified Referees will be used. Headgear and singlets are mandatory.
Bout length: 1-1-1. Overtime: 1 minute sudden victory, 30 second ride-out.
Wrestlers must be of age in the division they are competing on the day of the tournament. Wrestlers may enter more than one division,
but no guaranteed rest time and you must pay separate entry fees.
Challenges will be at the discretion of the tournament directors and must be done before the wrestler completes his/her second match.
Wrestlers should be within 2 pounds of weight class if challenged. Age challenges must have a birth certificate present upon request
by the director and will be required by both parties involved in the age challenge process. Participants with any skin disease must have
a doctor note clearing participants to wrestle. All decisions final by tournament directors.
6 Mats will be used all day. Participants will wrestle on the same mat all day (no guarantee if more than one entry).
NOVICE First & Second year wrestlers only! Wrestlers who placed 1 st thru 3 rd in any open tournament, regardless of being
a first or second year wrestler, are not eligible for the novice division! This is strictly for novice caliber wrestlers!
First 250 paid wrestlers will be entered. Madison bracketing will be used to comprise 4, 5, & 6 Man Round Robin brackets. Wrestlers
will be grouped by age and closest weight
Wrestlers must be within 2 pounds of the weight submitted on registration form if challenged.
NOVICE DIVISIONS: Pee Wee (6 & Under), Bantam (8 & Under), Midget (10 & Under)
NOVICE AWARDS: Our famous 4inch Olympic Style Medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers, and smaller
medals for other finishers in each class and division. Every NOVICE wrestler will receive a medal!
OPEN First 300 paid wrestlers will be entered. Seeding will be a blind draw with teammates separated as best as possible.
DETAILS : Double elimination tournament for bracketed weight classes. We reserve the right to combine weight classes with 3 or less wrestlers and/or round robin weight classes with 5 or less wrestlers.
