Saturday, February 17^th  (Rounds: Consi of 8 #2 -> Semifinals -> Consi Quarters -> Consi Semis -> Consi and Championship Finals)

Fees and Admission

• Entry Fee: $100 - Make checks out to: Hartsville High School Athletics, Attn: Wrestling
• Spectator Admission: $6 Friday, $10 Saturday  - Cash at the door or Online.

Tournament Format

• Double elimination bracket
• Top 8 advance to the Individual State Tournament

Seeding Criteria

• Overall in-state record (minimum of 10 matches)
• Dual playoff results do count towards their record
• Head to head if within 10% winning percentage

*** A wrestler must count all in-state matches at the weight they are entered in and above. A wrestler may NOT carry a record up, but they MUST take their record down ***

Registration

1. Registration is open starting 2/1/2025 @ 12:01 am and will close Monday 2/10/2025 @ 9:00 PM to give the tournament director a chance to load information.
2. When entering your wrestlers you will be asked for 2 records:

In-State record (used for seeding) – wrestlers record against kids from SC only. (if they wrestled a kid from GA in a tournament that happened in SC, it does not count for this record, only count W/L against SC kids)

Overall Record (used to pass on to State tourney director) – this is the wrestlers Overall record for 2024-2025. (this includes out of state wins and losses)

3. Do not touch the “Rec Mod” field, this is used by tournament director for seeding purposes. Leave this set as “No”.
4. Once entries are visible online, email Michael Lynch, michaelwlynch@aol.com,  with any head to heads so I can begin working through them ahead of the seeding meeting.

Registration Link:

• A seeding meeting will be held virtually via Google Meet at 12pm on Thursday, Feb. 13th to finalize brackets and to answer any tournament related questions.
• The Google Meet link will be emailed out on the morning of February 13^th.

Tournament Day Info

• The tournament will be on FloArena
• QR codes will be on posters around the Commons Area to access brackets
• We will be running straight Tournament numbering on a next available mat concept.
• Top 8 qualify for the 4A State Tournament.

The following hotels are located within 5 minutes of Hartsville High School. They have been contacted regarding group rates. When direct links are sent to us from their corporate offices, I will forward them to you. There are also hotels closer to I-95 (Florence) area that would leave about a 25 minute drive to Hartsville High School.
