` Cougar Clash 2023 DATE: Saturday, December 2nd, 2023 LOCATION: Vadalabene Center, Edwardsville, IL ? Southern Illinois University Edwardsville ELIGIBILITY: 8 team invitational with 15 entry?s per team WEIGHT CLASSES: 125, 133, 141, 149, 157, 165, 174, 184, 197 & 285 ENTRY FEE: $300 WEIGH-INS: Weigh-ins and skin checks will be held in the wrestling room at the Vadalabene Center beginning at 8am on Saturday, December 2nd. LOCKER ROOMS: We will have rooms for all teams and locker room to shower after FORMAT: Format will consist of 16 man double elimination brackets, with possible byes or pigtails. NCAA rules will be followed with seven minute matches; riding time will be kept for all matches. We will wrestle out to 7th place SEEDING: Outstanding individuals will be seeded based on the information submitted with entries. Please be sure to send information on your individuals. SCHEDULE: Locker rooms and floor will be open to participants at 7:00am. Skin Checks begin at 7:45 am. Weigh-ins will start at 8:00am. Wrestling will start at 10:00am and run straight through. Finals start at 4pm. Doors for the general public will open at 8am. Vadalabene ticket office is located on both sides of the building and will open at 8am. Teams: SIUE, N.
