Clare Booe and Gigi Bragg have never faced each other in a wrestling match, but that will change on September 9 when they will meet at Who’s Number One in Ann Arbor, Michigan. 

Booe recently won the 106-pound division at Junior Nationals in Fargo with a 10-0 tech in the finals. She won the first officially sanctioned Florida girls' state wrestling championship this year after a 31-0 season that included 30 pins and a tech. Booe wrestled her first two seasons at Palm Harbor Univerity High School and will enter her junior year at Wyoming Seminary this fall. 

Bragg placed third at 100 pounds in the 16U and Junior divisions at Fargo after winning the Cadet and Junior divisions at Folkstyle Nationals earlier this year. She also won the 2021 Cadet Pan-American Championships and was a 2021 Super 32 finalist. Bragg is entering her sophomore year at Anoka High School in Minnesota and wrestles for Michigan Revolution in the summer.
