Brody Teske Enters Transfer Portal
Two-time NCAA qualifier Brody Teske has entered the transfer portal.

Brody Teske has officially entered the transfer portal where he is listed as a graduate transfer. Teske started his college career at Penn State redshirting during the 2018-2019 season. He then transferred to Northern Iowa and was the starting 125-pounder for the Panthers the past 2 seasons. While in Cedar Falls, Teske qualified for NCAAs twice, was a Big 12 Champ in 2021, a Big 12 runner-up in 2022, and ranked as high as #7 at 125 pounds in our NCAA Division 1 Rankings. Teske has 2 years of eligibility remaining and would be a valuable addition to any program looking to fill a gap at either 125 or 133 pounds.

With Teske out at 125, Northern Iowa has a few options for the upcoming 2022-2023 season. First, is sophomore Kyle Golhoffer who went 3-6 last year in his limited time filling in for Teske and in open tournaments. After that, the Panthers' best option looks to be incoming freshman Cory Land who recently won a junior national championship in Fargo and finished ranked #27 in the class of 2022 High School Big Board Rankings.
