Kyle Dake Announces Move To Nittany Lion Wrestling Club
4X World champion Kyle Dake is leaving Cornell.

In huge senior-level wrestling news, Kyle Dake will be joining the Nittany Lion Wrestling Club. Dake announced the move immediately after winning his fourth World title in Belgrade, Serbia.
The NLWC is the regional training center (RTC) associated with Penn State University in State College, PA.
Dake, now a four-time World champion and 2021 Olympic bronze medalist, has predominantly been training at Cornell in Ithaca, New York since he started his college career there in the fall of 2009. While at Cornell Dake won four national titles from 2011-2015. In June, Dake made his fifth-straight World or Olympic team. He repeated as 74 kg World champion today by beating Tajmuraz Salkazanov of Russia/Slovakia in the finals 3-1.

The NLWC is currently the most dominant RTC in the country. With a roster including, but not limited to, Kyle Snyder, David Taylor, and Thomas Gilman, they made up 40% of this year's men's freestyle World Team in Serbia. They are coached by Cael Sanderson, Cody Sanderson, Casey Cunningham, Jake Varner, Mark McKnight, and Jimmy Kennedy.
