Sunday's Best-Of-Three Finals 

WFS 50 kg -- Alyssa Lampe vs. Erin Golston: Lampe gets in on a leg early and drives Golston out for a point to go up 1-0. Lampe tacks on a takedown and is going to work on top. She extends her lead to 9-0. Golston is trying to work her way back into it with a takedown and a gut of her own to make it 9-4. Golston adds a step-out point in the closing seconds of the first. It's 9-5 at the break. Golston has come all the way back to take the lead. She got in deep and took Lampe to her back for four to make it 9-9, but Golston has the lead on criteria. Lampe gets to a leg and drives Golston out to regain the lead with 2:19 to go. Great exchange with a minute to go leads to no points. Lampe leads 10-9 with :38 to go. Lampe takes the first match 10-9. 

MFS 57 kg -- Vito Arujau vs. Jakob Camacho: Arujau comes out quick and scores the first takedown and locks up a lace and ends it in 61 seconds.   

MFS 61 kg -- Seth Gross vs. Daniel DeShazer: Gross strikes first with a takedown in the opening minute. Gross has given himself some cushion with a takedown and a turn. He leads 6-0 at the break. DeShazer gets to the legs late and finishes, but it won't be enough. Gross wins the first match 6-2. 

WFS 55 kg -- Jacarra Winchester vs. Lauren Mason: Winchester comes out hard in the opening seconds and scores on the edge and then gets in again later in the opening minute for another takedown. Jacarra adds a pair of turns off high-guts and pushes her lead to 8-0 midway through the first. That'll be the score at the break. Winchester scores a takedown early in the second period to win 10-0. 

MFS 74 kg -- Jason Nolf vs. Joey Lavallee: Nolf rettacks to an angle to score a takedown in the opening seconds. Knee tap for Nolf leads to another score, making it 4-0. Nolf gets to a single and patiently works to a finish to extend his lead to 6-0 with a minute left in the first. Lavallee gets on the board with a step-out point. Nolf pushes his lead to 10-1 with a four on the edge and adds another takedown to win 12-1 in the first bout. 

MFS 79 kg -- Chance Marsteller vs. Vincenzo Joseph: No scoring through the first 90 seconds. Marsteller drops in on a low-single and finishes for a takedown. Marsteller takes a 2-0 lead into the break. Joseph drives Marsteller to the edge and they both go out. Marsteller is awarded with the step-out point. Joseph's corner challenges, but the call on the mat stands. It's 4-0 with 2:30 to go. Marsteller takes the first match 4-0. 

WFS 57 kg -- Cam Guerin vs. Alex Hedrick: Hedrick goes on the clock midway through the first and can't score, giving Guerin a 1-0 lead. Guerin goes on the clock and can't score, putting Hedrick ahead 1-1 on criteria and Hedrick gets to a leg and runs Guerin out for a point to make it 2-1. That'll be the final. 

GR 97 kg -- Braxton Amos vs. Haydn Maley: Amos takes control early with a takedown and two guts to go up 6-0. Maley gets on the board with a step-out point. Amos drives Maley to the edge and tacks on another takedown. Amos pressures Maley to the edge and scores a takedown to end it. He takes the first match 11-1. 

MFS 86 kg -- Mark Hall vs. Zahid Valencia: Hall in on a leg with a minute to go in the first period, extended on his belly, Valencia hops over and exposes him to go up 2-0. Valencia adds a clock point to make it 3-0. Great exchange midway through the second. Zahid looked like he was going to score and Hall came out of it, but Zahid sticks with it and finishes to extend his lead to 5-0. That'll be the final. 

WFS 62 kg -- Jennifer Rogers vs. Macey Kilty: Kilty crumples in pain 31 seconds in. Trainers are looking at her braced left shoulder. Rogers wins by injury default. 

MFS 92 kg -- Nate Jackson vs. Isaac Trumble: Quick go-behind takedown for Jackson and he laces up Trumble to end it in 40 seconds. 

WFS 65 kg -- Mallory Velte vs. Emma Bruntil: Velte snags a single and finishes to grab the early lead. Blood stoppage for Bruntil. Go-behind takedown for Velte makes it 4-0. That's the score at the break. Bruntil goes on the clock in the second and can't score, pushing Velte's lead to 5-0. Bruntil gets on the board with a single with 1:11 to go, making it 5-2. Velte takes the first match 5-2. 

MFS 97 kg -- Kollin Moore vs. Mike Macchiavello: Moore gets to a duck and takes Macchiavello to his back for four to go up 4-0 midway through the first. Moore tacks on another takedown and adds a gut to make it 8-0. Moore ducks around behind for two more in the second to win 10-0.

WFS 68 kg -- Solin Piearcy vs. Sienna Ramirez: Ramirez gets on the board first with a snap and go-behind. Nice defense and direction change by Piearcy to score in the closing seconds of the first period. She leads 2-2 on criteria at the break. Ramirez pancakes Piearcy to her back for four with a little more than a minute left. Piearcy notches a pair of late takedowns, but Ramirez wins 6-6 on criteria. 

WFS 50 kg -- Alyssa Lampe vs. Erin Golston: Match 2 begins like the first one with Lampe getting to a leg and drive Golston out for a point. Lampe runs around Golston for a takedown, gets to a bar and cranks Golston over for the fall. She sweeps the series and will take on Sarah Hildebrandt at Final X. 

MFS 57 kg -- Vito Arujau vs. Jakob Camacho: Arujau reattack to a leg, he takes Camacho out for the first point of the match. Masterful job by Vito, taking Camacho to the edge and then running around him for a takedown. Arujau drives through Camacho for four to make it 7-0. Arujau uses a two-on-one to get to the body and scores another takedown. He leads 9-0 at the break. Camacho gets to a leg, Vito hoists him in the air and exposes him for four to win 13-0. He'll get Thomas Gilman at Final X. 

WFS 55 kg -- Jacarra Winchester vs. Lauren Mason: Winchester gets in deep on a double and finishes to grab a 2-0 lead. Mason goes on the clock. Winchester uses a nice direction-change go-behind and collects three points in the sequence. She adds a step-out point to make it 6-0. Mason gets in deep and finishes to make it 6-2 at the break. Nice level change by Mason to score her second takedown. Mason has come back to take the lead on criteria with her third takedown of the bout. Jacarra goes back on top with a go-behind to make it 8-6. Winchester knee taps Mason to her back to make it 10-6. She's looking for the fall. Winchester wins 10-6 to go back to Final X, where she'll face Jenna Burkert. 

MFS 61 kg -- Seth Gross vs. Daniel DeShazer: Gross drops in on a single and finishes to go up 2-0. DeShazer goes on the clock and can't score. DeShazer drives Gross to the edge and they go out. Gross is awarded with the step-out point, but DeShazer asks for the brick and the call is overturned after video review. Gross leads 3-1. Gross picks up another step-out point to extend his lead to 4-1. That's the score at the break. DeShazer gets in on a shot, lifts Gross and takes him to his back on the edge for four to go up 5-4. Gross strikes back with a takedown to regain the lead 6-5 with 2:12 to go. He'll add a caution and one to make it 7-5. Another step-out point for Gross makes it 8-5. Gross extends to 9-5 with another step-out point. DeShazer cuts into the lead with a step-out point with :43 to go. DeShazer gets in quickly off a restart and finishes in the closing seconds to make it 9-8, but he won't get any closer. Seth Gross wins 9-8 to sweep the series. He'll face Daton Fix in Stillwater. 

WFS 57 kg -- Cam Guerin vs. Alex Hedrick: Hedrick goes on the clock and can't score, giving Guerin a 1-0 lead. That's the score at the break. Guerin goes on the clock and can't score. It's 1-1 with Hedrick in the lead on criteria. Shot by Guerin, but Hedrick extends her and runs around for a takedown and goes to work on top, adding a pair of turns to make it 7-1. Guerin hits a fireman's for four in the closing seconds, but it won't be enough. Hedrick wins 7-6 to sweep the series. She'll face Helen Maroulis at Final X. 

MFS 74 kg -- Jason Nolf vs. Joey Lavallee: Nolf drives Lavallee to the edge and Lavallee uses an overhook toss to throw him out of bounds for a step-out point. Lavallee's corner wants four here, so they're challenging. It's ruled a correct hold for Lavallee and he's awarded with two and he'll retain his brick. Nolf drops in on a leg and finishes to grab the 2-2 lead on criteria. Nolf fires off a series of attacks and gets to the legs for two more. Nolf takes a 4-2 lead into the break after a high-pace first period. Lavallee picks up a step-out point early in the second and looks for the lead on a shot, but Nolf stuffs it and covers him for a takedown to make it 6-3. Nolf ends it with a takedown and three guts to make it 14-3. He'll get Kyle Dake at Final X. 

GR 97 kg -- Braxton Amos vs. Haydn Maley: Amos hits a lefty headlock for four and Maley rolls him through for two. Amos tacks on a step-out to make it 5-2. A drag takedown for Amos and he adds to turns on low-guts to finish off an 11-2 tech. He'll get G'Angelo Hancock at Final X.

MFS 79 kg -- Chance Marsteller vs. Vincenzo Joseph: Marsteller goes on the clock and can't score. Joseph takes a 1-0 lead into the break. Joseph's turn to go on the clock. He can't score, so Marsteller leads 1-1 on criteria. Joseph goes on the clock again. He can't score, making it 2-1 after he fails to score. Time winding down, Joseph goes lateral drop and scores a takedown and tacks on a turn. Marsteller's corner is challenging. The call on the mat stands. Joseph wins 6-2 to force a decisive third bout. 

WFS 62 kg -- Jennifer Rogers vs. Macey Kilty: Rogers wins by injury default. 

MFS 86 kg -- Mark Hall vs. Zahid Valencia: Valencia strikes first on a go-behind with a minute left in the first. That'll be the score at the break. Valencia snags a low-single and finishes to extend his lead and then tacks on another go-behind takedown to make it 6-0. Nice shot by Valencia to get in and finish to go up 8-0. Zahid cradles Hall and takes him over. He wins 10-0 to set up a Final X battle with David Taylor. 

WFS 65 kg -- Mallory Velte vs. Emma Bruntil: Bruntil goes on the clock and can't score. Velte leads 1-0. That score will hold into the break. Velte drops in on a double, switches to a second to start the second and takes Bruntil out to make it 2-0. Velte goes on the clock and can't score. Her lead shrinks to 2-1. Inside trip by Bruntil in the closing seconds and she takes Velte down to win 3-2, forcing a third match. 

MFS 92 kg -- Nate Jackson vs. Isaac Trumble: Jackson whips Trumble over for four to open the scoring. That'll be the score at the break. Jackson powers through Trumble for another takedown to make it 6-0 with 1:50 to go. Trumble fires off a shot and Jackson spins around behind for another takedown. Jackson wins 8-0 to sweep the series. He'll face J'den Cox at Final X. 

WFS 68 kg -- Solin Piearcy vs. Sienna Ramirez: Ramirez opens the scoring with a takedown a minute in. That's the score heading to the break. Piearcy goes ahead on criteria with a slick go-behind. That's the final. Piearcy wins 2-2 to force a third match.

MFS 97 kg -- Kollin Moore vs. Mike Macchiavello: Moore strikes first with a takedown in the opening seconds. Macchiavello goes on the clock and can't score. Moore's lead grows to 3-0. Macchiavello takes a shot, Moore extends him and runs around for a takedown. Moore hits a duck to a bodylock and drives Macchiavello out for a point to make it 6-0 with 1:30 left. Moore wins 6-0 and sweeps the series. He'll face Kyle Snyder at Final X. 

MFS 79 kg -- Chance Marsteller vs. Vincenzo Joseph: Marsteller goes on the clock. Activity clock expires to put Joseph up 1-0. Joseph gets to Marsteller's left leg, but Chance kicks out. It's 1-0 at the break. Shot by Joseph, reattack by Marsteller, arm throw attempt by Marsteller that's ruled a slip. Joseph goes on the clock with a little more than two minutes left. Marsteller collects the clock point and then drops in on a low-level shot and finishes to push his lead to 3-1 with 1:21 left. Joseph chasing, picks up a caution and one. Marsteller tosses Joseph for four in the closing seconds and wins 7-2 to win the series 2-1. 

WFS 65 kg -- Mallory Velte vs. Emma Bruntil: Bruntil goes on the clock and Velte responds by dropping in on a single. She takes Bruntil out for a point and also collects a point for the clock expiration. She leads 2-0 at the break. Bruntil hits a low single and almost comes out with a takedown, but Velte comes out of it and she's behind Bruntil and taking her out of bounds. It's a step-out point and a caution and one, so Velte leads 4-0. Velte tacks on a late takedown to win 6-0. She'll face Forrest Molinari at Final X. 

WFS 68 kg -- Solin Piearcy vs. Sienna Ramirez: Ramirez seizes control early with a big toss for four and she adds another takedown to lead 6-0 at the break. Piearcy storms back with a takedown and two guts to make it 6-6, but Ramirez still has the lead on criteria. Ramirez hangs on to win 6-6 on criteria. She'll wrestle Tamyra Mensah Stock at Final X. 

Sunday's Semifinals 

Iowa native Felicty Taylor is the first wrestler of the day to secure a spot in Final X. She notched a 51-second fall against Haley Franich in the semis at 53 kilograms. Taylor will have a Final X date against Dom Parrish, who took out Ronna Heaton 6-0 in the other semi. Parrish took control early, scoring on a misdirection shot in the opening seconds and adding another takedown off a Heaton shot. 

The Final X lineup is starting to fill up with Greco mainstays. Max Nowry, Ildar Hafizov, Dalton Roberts, Jesse Thielke and Sammy Jones are among those who have punched through to Final X. 

The first upset of the day on the men's freestyle side: Evan Henderson rallied back from an 8-0 deficit to defeat Nick Lee 12-11 at 65 kilograms. Henderson scored the winning points on an exposure in the closing seconds. Henderson will square off at Final X against Yianni Diakomihalis, who needed 61 seconds to dispose of Ian Parker 10-0 in the other semi. Yianni methodically worked for an early takedown before tacking on four guts to end it. 

Rising Greco star Benji Peak spotted Michael Hooker an early four-point lead before reeling off 15 straight to win a 15-4 tech in the semis at 72 kilograms. He'll advance to face multi-time World Team member Pat Smith at Final X. 

Junior World bronze medalist Alston Nutter ran off 13 straight points on his way to a 16-5 tech against Lenny Merkin to secure a Final X Greco spot at 67 kilograms. 

Zain Retherford and Jordan Oliver are set to square off at Final X. Retherford took out Alec Pantaleo 5-2 in one semifinal at 70 kilograms, while Oliver edged Ryan Deakin 7-3 in the other. The Oliver-Deakin bout tipped in the final 45 seconds. Deakin was leading 3-2 when Oliver ran around behind him for two and then added a turn. 

Kamal Bey is headed back to Final X. He took out Olympic Trials champion Jesse Porter 6-3 at 77 kilograms. Porter led 3-0 in the first period before Bey battled back after the break. 

Hayden Zillmer dumped Dom Bradley to the mat on a head-inside single midway through the second period to come from behind for a 3-1 victory at 125 kilograms. Zillmer advances to Final X, where he'll face Nick Gwiazdowski. The two-time World bronze medalist defeated Tony Cassioppi 10-0. Gwiazdowski transitioned from a takedown to gut to grab an early 4-0 lead and then fought off a Cassioppi shot, countering for a takedown before adding two more turns to end it. 

The women's freestyle semis at 72 and 76 kilograms ended early. Skylar Grote and Amit Elor registered technical superiority wins at 72 kg, while Dymond Guilford and Yelena Makoyed did the same at 76 kg.  

Grote followed up her U.S. Open title by registering a 10-0 win against Marilyn Garcia. She transitioned from a takedown to a lace to build a quick 6-0 lead. 

Guilford drove through past World Teamer Victoria Francis for an early takedown and added a leg-lace turn to grab control early on her way to a 10-0 win. 

Cohlton Schultz is headed back to Final X. He trailed 1-0 at the break against Tate Orndorff before getting on top and breaking the match open on his way to a 10-2 victory. Schultz will face Tanner Farmer, who pinned West Cathcart in the other Greco semi at 130 kilograms.
