125 - Can Anyone Stop Brandon Courtney?
Returning NCAA finalist #4 Brandon Courtney will be a big favorite to win his third straight Pac 12 title. Courtney is currently 19-1 on the year with his only loss coming to #2 Patrick Glory. On top of that, Courtney has wins on the year over the top 2 contenders at the weight in the PAC 12 - #12 Brandon Kaylor and HM Antonio Lorenz. Kaylor will likely be Courtney’s toughest challenge and the two are likely to meet in the finals. They wrestled just a month ago with Courtney winning a tight, 6-5 match.
The PAC 12 has 3 allocated qualifiers at 125 earned by the aforementioned Courtney, Kaylor, and Lorenzo. While those 3 are likely to also finish in the top 3, it will be important to
Prediction: 1) Brandon Courtney, 2) Brandon Kaylor, 3) Antonio Lorenzo, 4) Eddie Flores

133 - Michael McGee Has Been On Another Level
Returning All-American #6 Michael McGee is the favorite to win the PAC 12 at 133 but will be tested by the likes of #13 Devan Turner and Chance Rich. McGee is 20-2 on the season with ranked wins over #11 Micky Phillippi, #8 Dylan Ragusin, #4 Korbin Myers, #17 Anthony Madrigal, and most importantly for this weekend #13 Devan Turner. Despite McGee’s success, it’s important to note CSU Bakersfield’s Chance Rich took out McGee at last year’s PAC 12 tournament, 6-4 in overtime.
Prediction: 1) Michael McGee, 2) Devan Turner, 3) Chance Rich, 4) Jackson DiSario

141 - Willits vs Woods Rematch Looming
#9 Grant Willits and #5 Real Woods are the class of this field and the only two wrestlers to earn allocations for the PAC 12 at 141. Though Woods put together a better season and is ranked higher, Willits pinned Woods in the final match of the season.
Prediction: 1) Real Woods, 2) Grant Willits, 3) Angelo Martinoni, 4) Lawrence Saenz

149 - Parco Is The Man To Beat
149 is one of the deepest weights of the PAC 12 with 4 of the 6 wrestlers ranked in the top 33 and three in the top 20. With wins over #12 Jaden Abas, #17 Legend Lamer, and HM Cory Crooks, returning All-American #7 Kyle Parco is the clear favorite to win this bracket. On top of that, Parco has a 19-1 record on the year and should receive a high seed at the NCAA tournament if he comes out of the PAC 12 tournament on top. It’s also important to note Parco, Abas, Lamer, and Crooks will be vying for 3 available allocations.
Prediction: 1) Kyle Parco, 2) Jaden Abas, 3) Cory Crooks, 4) Legend Lamer
157 - Jacori's World
Returning All-American #3 Jacori Teemer is currently 17-0 and is the favorite to win his third straight PAC 12 title. Teemer and Grant Willits are the only wrestlers to earn allocations for the PAC 12 conference at 157 and wrestled a tight match last month in the Oregon State vs Arizona State dual. In that match, Teemer won 2-1 in the first tie-breakers.
Prediction: 1) Jacori Teemer, 2) Grant Willits, 3) Charlie Darracott, 4) Brock Rogers
165 - The Main Event Of The Tournament
165 is the premier weight of the PAC 12 tournament with #1 Evan Wick, #2 Shane Griffith, and #8 Anthony Valencia. Of those top 3, Wick has proven to be the top dog with 2 wins this season over defending national champion Griffith and a major decision over Valencia. Griffith and Valencia are likely to meet in the semifinals and, if their match at PAC 12s is anything like their dual match, there’s sure to be fireworks. In their match from earlier this year, Griffith was controlling the bout until Valencia hit a cement mixer for a takedown and back points. Griffith still won 7-6 but Valencia is capable of winning any match because of his big move potential.
Prediction: 1) Evan Wick, 2) Shane Griffith, 3) Anthony Valencia, 4) Matthew Olguin
Wick's win over Griffith from the 2021 CKLV
174 - Adam Kemp The Favorite
#11 Adam Kemp and HM Aaron Olmos are the only wrestlers to earn allocations for the PAC 12 at 174. Kemp is undefeated against PAC 12 competition this year but hasn’t wrestled Olmos. On top of that, Kemp lost to Olmos 6-4 (OT) in the first match of the season in 2021. With HM Triston Wills and national qualifier Tyler Eischens also in this field, the fight for the 2 automatic qualifying spots will be exciting to watch.
Prediction: 1) Adam Kemp, 2) Triston Wills, 3) Aaron Olmos, 4) Tyler Eischens
184 - Truax And Munoz Round 3
#6 Bernie Truax and #9 Trey Munoz were the only two 184 pounders to earn allocations for the PAC 12. They are also big favorites to meet in the finals in what would be their third match of the year. In the previous two meetings this season, Truax came out on top in close decisions - 5-2 and 3-1.
Prediction: 1) Bernie Truax, 2) Trey Munoz, 3) Jacob Hanson, 4) Nick Addison
197 - Kordell Norfleet The Big Favorite
#11 Kordell Norfleet is the only wrestler at 197 in the PAC 12 to earn an NCAA allocation and should cruise to a PAC 12 title. Norfleet is currently 12-3 on the year and is undefeated against his PAC 12 opponents.
Prediction: 1) Kordell Norfleet, 2) Nick Stemmet, 3) Ryan Reyes, 4) Josh Loomer
285 - Potential Top Ten Matchup - Schultz vs Traub
The finals of the PAC 12 tournament at heavyweight should be a top 10 showdown between #5 Cohlton Schultz and #8 Gary Traub. The two have never met in their college careers and this potential match has extra import for NCAA seeds. Undefeated on the year and ranked #2 in the last coaches’ ranking, Schultz will likely earn the #2 seed at NCAAs if he comes away with the PAC 12 tournament crown.
Prediction: 1) Cohlton Schultz, 2) Gary Traub, 3) Jacob Sieder, 4) Josiah Hill
