Gabe Arnold won titles at National Preps and Fargo in 2021 and also earned two victories at Who's Number One to earn the nation's top spot at 170 lbs. Now he's announced his next move.

Arnold has decided to become a Hawkeye, and he'll join big boarders #6 Nate Jesuroga, #16 Ben Kueter, and #61 Ryder Block in an already outstanding recruiting class that comes on the heels of a strong 2022 class.

The Georgia prep, now at Wyoming Seminary in Pennsylvania is likely to begin his career at 174 lbs with the possibility of moving to 184 lbs at some point in his career. Of the seven current Hawkeyes in those two weight classes, four are seniors, and Nelson Brands is junior, so this Arnold fills a big need for Tom Brands's squad.
