Zach Hanson got it done in Fargo on one of the biggest stages in all of high school wrestling twice in one week. That boosted Hanson's recruiting profile and made the Minnesota junior a coveted college prospect. Now, Hanson has announced his next move.

The midwest middleweight will be moving out west to join Rob Koll and company at Stanford. This marks the second big recruit that the Cardinal have landed this week as Hunter Garvin, a senior and the #3 ranked 145-pounder in the country, just announced his plans to attend Stanford on Monday.

Stanford's middleweights currently include standout Real Woods at 141 and All-American Jaden Abas at 149, and now the next generation in the 141-157 range appears to be Hanson, Garvin, and Colorado senior Daniel Cardenas, the #3 ranked 152-pounder in the country.

Hanson attributes much of his wrestling success to the development he's made at Pinnacle Wrestling School. Coaches Brandon Paulson and Jared Lawrence have helped him find success at the state and national level, and partners like Super 32 runner-up Koy Buesgens have sharpened his skills.

In his final two years of high school, Hanson hopes to add two state titles to his resume and climb the podium at more national tournaments like Fargo and Super 32.
