Jordan Williams Has Made His College Decision

Jordan Williams, one of the top prospects in the class of 2022, has once again committed to the college of his choice.

Jordan Williams' original college commitment and his decision to redact his commitment were both big stories. Now, after a lot of thought, Williams has announced his college decision with a thoughtful post on Instagram.

Williams has been public about the challenging year he had during the 2020-2021 season, a year that led to him reconsidering his future as a wrestler. Williams actually took a break from the sport, but when he came back, he came back in a big way.

After falling short of his goal at Folkstyle Nationals in his comeback, Williams went to work in an effort to win a third Fargo title. He got that done in dramatic fashion over Caleb Rathjen He scored at the last possible second in one of the most memorable matches from the entire tournament.

Williams could make a big impact at 157 lbs, a weight class that will see All-American Wyatt Sheets graduate at the end of the season. He'll enter the class alongside Anthony Ferrari, another top 20 recruit in the 157-165 range and will help Oklahoma State continue their tradition of wrangling many of the state's best prospects.
