#11 Hunter Mason Has Made His College Decision
Hunter Mason, the #11 recruit in the class of 2023, has announced where he'll be headed after high school.
Hunter Mason is one of the top recruits in the class of 2023 and part of the increasingly deep wrestling tradition in the Southeast. The Greenville, Tennessee 138-pounder has decided to keep his talents close to home. He made his decision public on Instagram this morning with the following post.
Mason is registered for Super 32 at 138 lbs where he will look to improve on his 6th place finish from a year ago, a podium finish that was the beginning of an outstanding sophomore campaign. In addition to his Super 32 performance, Mason was also a Fargo All-American and was 11-0 at NHSCA Duals with impressive victories over #7 Jack Gioffre and West Virginia freshman Jordan Titus.
Mason's commitment is big news for Hokie fans as he's the first major piece in their 2023 recruiting class and a potential sign of big things to come.
