#6 Matt Singleton Commits To NC State
The Wolfpack picked up another big recruit Sunday afternoon in Georgia upper weight Matt Singleton.
The Wolfpack are up to their usual tricks, picking up one of the nation's best recruits. #10 on the class of 2022 big board and #6 at 170 lbs, Matt Singleton committed to NC State on Thursday afternoon.
The Georgia native is a multiple-time state champion, Super 32 finalist, and Fargo finalist. In April, he made the Junior World Greco-Team that will compete in Ufa, Russia on August 16-22. He projects at 184 lbs.
Singleton is the sixth recruit so far for Pat Popolizio and co. and the fourth top-100 recruit. Heavyweight Chase Horne, 195 pounder Dylan Fishback, and 145 pounder Jackson Arrington are the other three. This is all after NC State finished fourth in the 2021 recruiting class rankings with five top-100 recruits. Things are looking good in Raleigh.
