Because Fargo is scored solely on All-Americans (1 point for 8th place - 8 points for 1st place), we don’t have an official team score update. However, there’s a clear leader when it comes to who has the most wrestlers still on the front side and alive on the backside.

The 16U action gets back underway tomorrow afternoon at 5:30 pm EST with the quarterfinal and consolation rounds.

With the most wrestlers on both the front side and the second-most on the backside, Pennsylvania is showing why they were the favorite coming into the tournament. PA is reaping the benefits of bringing a huge team as although 28 wrestlers are still alive in the tournament, 52 didn’t make it to day two.

While PA looks like they might run away with the title, second place is still very much up for grabs. Minnesota is in 2nd. Although they’re competitive with PA with 13 on the front side, they have only have half as many on the backside with 5.

Ohio is only two behind Minnesota but could bring the firepower in the consolations. New Jersey and Wisconsin are both tied with 10 in the quarters. Remember though, it’s all about All-Americans! It doesn’t matter how many you put in the bloodround or how many bonus points they scored. Any team could still theoretically score zero points.

If there’s one team that could really improve their position with some solid consolation performances it’s Oklahoma. Although they only have 3 in the quarters, they have 8 still alive on the backside. That’s tied for the 3rd most.
