AAU Scholastic Duals Viewer Guide

The six-day wrestling extravaganza that is the AAU Scholastic Duals — known to some as the Disney Duals — begins Tuesday with more than 1,200 competitors registered to take the mat this week at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando. All the action can be streamed live on Trackwrestling.

For more than two decades, the AAU Duals have showcased some of the sport’s rising stars. Past and present college standouts such as Jordan Oliver, Gregor Gillespie, Mike Pucillo, Phil Davis, Nathan Tomasello, Austin DeSanto, Pat Lugo, Nino Bonaccorsi, Mason Parris, Tony Cassioppi, Michael Kemerer and Mike Labriola have competed in the AAU Duals.

The event will be streamed live and available on demand on Trackwrestling.  

Here’s a look at some of the top competitors who are expected to compete this week in Orlando: 

Nic Bouzakis — MAWA Warriors — The nation’s top-ranked 132-pounder has a lengthy resume that includes Powerade, Beast of the East, Ironman and Super 32 titles. 

Faith Cole — STL Green — One of the most-decorated girls in the country. Cole is ranked third nationally at 106 pounds. 

Garrison Dendy — Baylor Club — One of Wyoming’s recent recruiting wins. Currently ranked #33 on Flowrestling’s 2022 Big Board. 

Virginia Foard — Hammer Chicks — Ranked #5 nationally at 106. 

Gabe Giampietro — Delaware — A three-time Delaware state champ who placed fourth or better at the Beast of the East and Ironman in 2019. 

David Harper — Baylor Club — Dendy’s high school teammate will join him at Wyoming. Harper is ranked #58 on the 2022 Big Board. 

Jack Wehmeyer — MAWA Warriors — The Columbia commit is ranked second nationally at 182.
