The traditional powerhouses were on display on day one in Tulsa. Oklahoma, Minnesota, and Illinois went undefeated with the closest dual being a 41-27 win for Oklahoma over California in pool play.
California, Wisconsin, and Georgia also made it to the Gold/Silver pool but fell in the first round. This is what the Gold/Silver pool likes like after day one.
With the final pool being a round-robin, every team will face each other. This means there won’t technically be a final, but rather final potential duals in rounds 2, 3, and 5.
In 2019 Illinois topped Minnesota for first place with California beating Oklahoma for third.
