One of Pennsylvania's best big men has made his college decision. Current #5 220-pounder and #30 on the Senior Big Board, Nate Schon will be heading to Ames, IA, to be Cyclone.

The 2019 Pennsylvania state champion announced his decision late Tuesday night. Schon chose Iowa State over Rutgers, Ohio State, Penn, NC State, and Pitt. He projects at 197/285 pounds.

Schon will join Paniro Johnson, another PA standout, as a member of the Cyclones in 2021. The rest of Iowa State's 2021 recruiting class includes #58 senior Conor Knopick, a Cadet Greco world-teamer from Nebraska; Sam Hrabovsky, a state champ from Missouri; and Gabe Greenlee, a 2020 state finalist from Ames.

He is the third Pennsylvania recruit to commit to head coach Kevin Dresser in the past 18 months; two-time PA state finalist and 2020 graduate Cameron Robinson committed in 2019.
