NCAA Championship Sites Announced For 2023-2026

The NCAA has announced the future championship sites for the 2023-2026 Division I men’s wrestling championships and there are a few repeat cities along with a few new locations.

The 2023 NCAA Championships will be held be hosted by Oklahoma State at the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where the Big 12 Championship has been held since 2017. Having been there a few times for the Big 12 Championship, it's a very nice arena that fans should enjoy. The BOK Center capacity for hockey configuration which will be the same for wrestling is listed at 17,096.

In 2024, the NCAA Championships will make their way to Kansas City, Missouri, where they will be hosted by the University of Missouri at the T-Mobile Center. I've also been to the Big 12 Championship in the past at the T-Mobile Center and can confirm it's another very nice arena and has a listed capacity of 17,500 for hockey configuration. It's also conveniently located directly across the street from Kansas City's famed Power & Light District

In 2025, the NCAA Championship will return to Philadelphia for the first time since 2012. The tournament will once again be held at the Wells Fargo Center which is home to the Philadelphia Flyers and has a capacity of 19,306. While the wrestling was awesome back in 2012, it's safe to say that wrestling fans didn't love Philadelphia. Penn and Drexel will jointly host the tournament.

Finally, in 2026 the NCAA Championships will be in Cleveland for the first time since 2018. Once again, the tournament will be at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse where the Cleveland Cavaliers call home and has a hockey capacity of 18,926. Full disclosure: I loved Cleveland and thought the arena and location was great for fans. As soon as you step outside of the arena there are plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance. Like it was in 2018, the tournament will once again be hosted by the Mid-American Conference.

Just as a reminder, the 2021 NCAA Championships are being held in St. Louis at the Enterprise Center (19,260) and then in 2022 in Detroit at Little Caesars Arena (19,515). There's nothing like the NCAA Championships and I hope each and every one of these arenas is sold out and rocking.
