Two of the top US women at 68 kg are set for a rematch on September 17 at Beat the Streets. Alexandria Glaude, a U23 World bronze medalist, and Victoria Francis, a fifth-place finisher at the Senior World Championships, will do battle next week. These are the third- and fourth-ranked wrestlers in the country.

These two met in the semifinals of Senior Nationals in December of 2019 in a controversial match that came down to the last second. The margin between these women is razor-thin which sets up what should be another tight battle at Beat the Streets.
Both Glaude and Francis are part of a deep 68kg weight class that is made deeper by the reduced number of weight classes during the Olympic year. Both appeared in Final X in 2019 where Glaude lost to world champion Tamyra Mensah-Stock at 68kg and Francis beat Alyvia Fiske at 72kg.
Earlier this month, Beat the Streets announced that it would conduct its annual fundraising event as a Virtual Telethon. The live matches will be held outdoors with no fans in an undisclosed location somewhere in the Tri-State area. The matches will be held with the safety of the participants as the first priority, following state and local health and government restrictions as well as the USA Wrestling Return to Events Guidelines.
As part of its partnership with Beat the Streets this year, FloWrestling will produce both portions of the Beat the Streets fundraiser. The Virtual Telethon will be free to view, and include live and recorded content as part of the fundraising celebration. The Virtual Telethon will have a variety of different features including prominent athletes, coaches, and celebrities. Fans will need a FloPro subscription to view the live matches.
