For those of us that follow the man on social media, we know that Pat Downey is one of a kind. 

It’s quite possible that his off the mat antics have overshadowed his performances from time to time. But don’t let his mouth fool you, he can scrap and he’s proved that. Before he found a home with NJRTC he dubbed himself the unattached assassin and showed that he’s got some throws as he launch Kyle Crutchmer.

Against Myles Martin it was probably one of his best performances as he grinded out a comeback win.

We all that him and Nick Heflin have had some bad blood, but it was their match in the US Open finals that Downey really showed out as he claimed the title.

But between his tweets and his big throws not much is known about him. Lucky for you our very own Mark Bader got us a peak behind the curtain of the “Lizard King.”
